My mom will be here when I wake up from surgery on Monday... I'm so happy. Please pray as hard as you can that the weather behaves in the midwest- I would be devastated if her flights were canceled or heavily delayed.
I would also like to add that I have amazing friends- instead of making my mom take a taxi/Super Shuttle, one of them is picking her up from the airport.

Worth the weight?
I am overweight... I always have been. Well, maybe not always, but pretty darn close. Over the past 3 years I've gone through so many different fertility treatments... which resulted in 3 pregnancies and one child (who is the absolute love of my life). I attribute a lot of my weight gain to the fertility treatments, having a baby and being a working mom... I've also got my PCOS working against me. My biggest problem is myself. I refuse to blame my weight on anyone or anything but myself. This is all about me at this point... and I'm finally doing something about it. On October 17, 2007 I set a date to have weight loss surgery. From this point on, my life will never be the same. I will live the life I have always imagined... and I will do it significantly HEALTHIER.
